Leela Boo had a bit of Colitis a month back. It was terrible. she would wake up every hour on the hour & need to go out, only to unsuccessfully go to the potty. I researched colitis on the net & found that many dogs have wheat gluten or processed food allergies. I put her on a raw diet of Tuna, sweet potato, broccoli, oats, & spinach & she couldn't be happier or healthier. She now gobbles her food up. I almost had to force feed her all the different types of canned foods we tried. her colitis has completely cleared up & she seems to even have a better temperament.
She still likes to nap with her Momma.
